Short bio

I am a Research Assistant and Ph.D candidate in Computer Security Lab (COSEC) at Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M). Before starting to develop my research career I have worked for nine years in different private companies as support engineer, developer, project manager and consultant in several projects. I hold a B.Sc. in Computer Science and a M.Sc in Computer Engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Spain.

I am currently involved in the CIBERDINE research project, related to cybersecurity, information sharing, big data and risks. In the past, I have been involved in projects related to contact centers, telecommunications, and financial services in the private sector. You can see my complete LinkedIn profile here.

I'm currently involved in the following projects:


This project aims at strengthening the capabilities to prevent, detect, and respond to cyberattacks by developing techniques that improve situational awareness and cater for a dynamic threat management. The project propose an interdisciplinary research program that tackles three important challenges in cybersecurity research: information sharing models among interdependent entities, advanced data analysis for cyberdefense through Big Data techniques and dynamic management of cybersecurity risks.
