Carmen Cámara is an Associate Professor at UC3M’s COSEC laboratory in the Computer Science Department, dedicates her work to advancing cybersecurity in e-health systems. Her academic journey reflects a strong interdisciplinary foundation in Computer Science and Bioengineering. Carmen holds a degree in Computer Engineering and a Master’s in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence from Carlos III University of Madrid. She further enhanced her expertise by completing both a Master’s and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the Technical University of Madrid (UPM).

Research

Her interests span a range of interconnected fields, including Cybersecurity in e-health, Biometrics, Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCI), Digital Signal Processing, and the use of Artificial Intelligence to address challenges in Bioengineering.
